
Dr. Mohd Fadhli bin Miskon
Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Mohd Fadhli is currently serving as a Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon at Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Bahru. He graduated with a Medical Degree in 2001 and a Master’s in Orthopedic Surgery in 2011, both from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Throughout his career in orthopedics, Dr. Mohd Fadhli has served in several major hospitals across the country, including Hospital Kuala Lumpur (2001), Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru (2002–2007), Pusat Perubatan UKM Cheras (2007–2011), Hospital Queen Elizabeth Kota Kinabalu (2012–2014), Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan (2015), and finally, Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Bahru (2017–present).
In 2018, he was gazetted by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) under the Subspecialty Programme as a Foot and Ankle Consultant. His subspecialty training spanned three years under the guidance of esteemed consultants in the field.

Dr. Mohd Fadhli’s case loads comprises both foot and ankle cases, as well as trauma and orthopaedic cases.
The foot and ankle cases are as follows:
- Complex foot and ankle trauma cases eg. complex calcaneus and talus fractures, complex ankle and distal tibia fractures, complex midfoot and forefoot fractures
- Post traumatic arthritis surgery ie. arthrodesis surgery, supramaleolar osteotomy, ankle arthroscopy and joint debridement surgery.
- Deformity correction surgery either congenital, post traumatic or acquired cases. Eg. Paediatric or adult flatfoot, paediatric or adult cavus foot, equinus deformity correction, foot drop, hallux valgus (bunion surgery).
- Achilles tendon disorders eg. Achilles tendon acute or chronic rupture, achilles tendinitis with or without haglund deformity.
- Tendon disorders eg. Peroneal tendon subluxation, peroneal tendon tendinitis, tibialis posterior tendon tendinitis.
- Sport related injury eg. Ankle sprain and chronic lateral ankle instability.
- Plantar heel painful disorders including plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel syndrome.
- Diabetic foot related problems and disorders; including diabetic foot infections, diabetic related wound, charcot joint surgery
Dr. Mohd Fadhli is actively involved in various medical organizations, including being a life member of the Malaysia Orthopedic Association, Malaysia Arthroscopy Society, and Malaysia Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society.
He currently serves as a trainer for both Master of Orthopedic Surgery students and the Ministry of Health’s Foot and Ankle Subspecialty Programme. Dr. Mohd Fadhli is also an active speaker and facilitator for a wide range of seminars and courses at both local and national levels.
