Alongside his expertise in paediatric orthopaedic care, he actively manages general orthopaedic and trauma cases, bringing years of experience to every patient he treats.

Professional Journey

Dr. Shashank began his medical career at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, serving as a house officer (2008–2010) and later as a Medical Officer in the Orthopaedics Department (2010–2014). He completed his Master’s training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (2014–2018), where he sharpened his clinical and surgical expertise.

Since 2018, Dr. Shashank has held key roles at renowned hospitals. Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (2018–2021), Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (2021) and Hospital Pulau Pinang (2022)

In 2023, he undertook a prestigious fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Bangkok, further enhancing his expertise in this subspecialty.

Current Roles

Today, Dr. Shashank serves as a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun and as a sessional consultant orthopaedic and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Hospital Fatimah. Additionally, he offers his expertise as a visiting surgeon to Hospital Teluk Intan, Hospital Sultan Ismail, Hospital Manjung and Hospital Taiping
